Databases
There are several on-going database projects at the National Museum of Ethnology. These include various ethnology databases, the Minpaku Museum collection database, and library catalogues. The following are the databases that are made available to the public.


listDatabase on Yoshikawa’s Sumerian dictionary
Files for Sumerian language studies prepared by YOSHIKAWA Mamoru, Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Letters, Hiroshima University

listTalking Dictionary of Khinina-ang Bontok new
An electronic dictionary of the Khinina-ang Bontok language spoken in Mountain Province, the Philippines. It contains image and sound data, as well as information typically found in a printed dictionary.

Information of Videotheque programs available on exhibition floor of the Museum

listNepal Photo Database
This database includes photographs and artifacts data taken and collected by Ryuzo TAKAYAMA and other members of the “Japanese Scientific Expedition for Northwestern Nepal” in 1958.
