Hands-on Activity
Furoshiki Weaving(approx. 30 minutes)

Place: Second Floor, Special Exhibition Hall
(For this activity, six looms are set up to provide visitors with hands-on experience to weave a 30 cm by 30 cm cloth. Fee: 1,000yen)
Wrapping in Furoshiki
Date: October 3, 2002 ~ January 14, 2003, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Place: Second Floor, Special Exhibition Hall
(Learning how to wrap goods in furoshiki, including methods for making a shopping bag using furoshiki (which is the most common use of furoshiki) and wrapping a ball-like object, a bottle, etc.)
