The Regional Exhibitions cover nine world regions. The exhibitions begin with Oceania and move eastward around to Japan. Cross-cultural exhibitions introduce the wide-ranging themes of language and music.

The Videotheque is a video-on-demand system with which visitors can discover their leisure, the lifestyles, technologies, and performing arts of peoples worldwide. The Study Area introduces books and videos on life and culture around the world. Computer terminals also provide access to the Museum's book, artifact and data collections.
