Mongolian tent

Mongolian tents are called ger. The ger is also called pao, a Chinese word of Manchurian origin meaning ‘a residence.’ The gridded walls of the ger are generally made of larch wood. Earlier tents employed a type of willow called borgas, and were even lighter and easier to carry.
