Saddles

As is made clear by an old Mongolian saying, “Humans are born and die on the backs of horses,” horses are vital carriers for nomads. These peoples can ride bareback, but saddles allow easy riding for anybody. They say that the Han people invented the saddle, because they were not good at horse riding.
