The exhibit is a replica, made by local traditional carpenters, of a pulpit in Wat Xiang Thong (Temple), built in 1560. Monks preach from the pulpit at important rituals. This particular pulpit was also used for the ritual of pouring water onto the head of the new king at royal enthronements.
