Amulet for the driver's seat

This type of amulet is placed at the driver's seat of trucks, buses, and auto-rickshaws. Drivers in South Asia are generally pious. They pray every morning burning incense, and pray again before they start a trip. Most amulets depict Hindu deities such as Ganesa, an elephant-faced god, while others represent the virgin Mary, or Jesus Christ, as well as Jaina and Sikh gods.
