India is the world's No.1 movie producing country.  These movies have now arrived in Japan by way of South East Asia and are gaining acceptance not only here but also overseas.  The main reason for this trend seems to be simple stories with much entertainment such as music and dance.  In India, one notices movie posters everywhere and they also broadcast the music on TV and radio.  The flood of cheap video tapes, cassettes and CD's also makes it easy for movies to cross the borders.
