Shamanic visions of the Amazon
In recent years, amazonian shamanism has become a topic of international attention.  The reason for this must be the dissatisfaction many people feel with their lives.  Shamanism is deeply connected with nature, mind healing and the expansion of consciousness.  It is centered on shamans who have special spiritual abilities.  This shamanic experience is now being mixed with Catholic and other religious beliefs and is gaining popularity not only near the Amazon but also in urban areas and overseas.
