The National Museum of Ethnology (Minpaku) is a research center for ethnology and cultural anthropology.

From September 8 (Thursday) to December 6 (Tuesday)
Hours: 10:00~17:00 (Entry permitted up to 16:30.)
Closed days: Wednesdays (When a national holiday falls on a Wednesday, the Museum is closed instead on the following day.)
Admission charges:
Adults: ¥830(Individual)/  ¥560(Group: more than 20 people)
Students (Senior High School & College): ¥450(Individual)/  ¥250(Group: more than 20 people)
Children (Elementary & Junior High School): ¥250(Individual)/  ¥130(Group: more than 20 people)
* No additional payment is necessary for entry to the permanent exhibition.
* Admission is free every Saturday for primary school, junior high school, and senior high school students.
* Admission is free on November 3 (Thursday, holiday), 19 (Saturday), and 20 (Sunday) for all visitors.
