This region, one of the birthplaces of human civilization, has always been a major cultural crossroads where many different cultures have met and mingled. The exhibition tries to embrace this fact by using a unique method of representation. As well as showing the agricultural, pastoral and city lives of this arid region, the gallery exhibits in concrete form the functions and meanings of Islam, the spiritual ground of the people of the region.
