Minpaku Discovery Guide

Minpaku Hakken (Minpaku discovery guides) are cross-cultural guidebooks that provide overviews of Minpaku’s regional exhibitions.
They offer information about objects on display and in storage, as well as information regarding the ethnic cultures in which each object on display was produced. They explain the linkages between material objects and culture, making them more accessible through visual means. With these guides, readers can familiarize themselves with the intellectual worlds revealed by materials, unconstrained by the framework of exhibitions.
