Recent Research Interests:

Lampung is a place where the wide range of basic social scientific researches are still in need, so it is my primary concern to propel the basic socio-cultural researches on Lampung area and the people. With the concern, I also interest in the research of the socio-cultural relations between the Lampung people as the indigenous one and the domestic migrants (transmigrasi, in Indonesian) who has still been taken as the new comers who mainly settled in Lampung after 1969, and interested in to study the various socio-cultural phenomenons which is of the democratization and the decentralization of Indonesia.
