This study will, by researching the relation of the family to folktales and the
relation of folktales to the family, research forms taken by the family. In addition
to the fact that generally the family is a central theme in folktales, animal
fables and other genres, they also either clearly or indirectly tell of families
and the human relationships in them. According to the traditional hypothesis that
folktales reflect the unconscious of groups, the forms of families shown in folktales
embody the consciousness of groups. While incorporating a standpoint of clinical
psychology, this research seeks to delineate and compare the images of families
projected in the folktales from various locations, and while modeling them we
will consider the universality of the family images as portrayed in folktales.
