MINDAS is the Center for Contemporary India Area Studies established at the National Museum of Ethnology, Japan in 2010. MINDAS is conducting a research program "Contemporary India Area Studies" in cooperation with the National Institutes for the Humanities (NIHU), and with other five research centers located at the Kyoto University, the University of Tokyo, the Hiroshima University, the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and the Ryukoku University.
