Center for Northeast Asian Studies at National Museum of Ethnology aims to elucidate the structure and transformation of the natural environment, culture, and civilization over a long span of time from the prehistoric to contemporary periods, focusing on movements and interchanges of people and goods as well as the introduction and influence of political and economic systems in Northeast Asia.
