To create an interactive, multilateral, multimedia database, the National Museum of Ethnology (“Minpaku”) is embarking on a series of international collaborative research projects based on its large and diverse collection of cultural resources.

As an Inter-University Research Institute, Minpaku often carries out joint research projects with scholars from multiple disciplines and institutions.
