Objective
On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of our museum’s Founding, we will explore the vision of future museums from diverse perspectives. This symposium will delve into ‘digital humanities,’ ‘digital humanism,’ and ‘digital heritage,’ areas that have garnered increasing research in recent years. We’ll investigate how emerging technologies like AI, 3D, and GIS are poised to revolutionize museum experiences. Further discussions will unravel how future museums will optimize ‘time and space’ and ‘communication’ ‒ our focal keywords. Engaging speakers from a broad spectrum of research fields, we’ll assemble to explore the boundless possibilities awaiting the museums of the future, keeping these two keywords at the helm.
