Message from Ngā Hau E Whā

Ngā Hau E Whā
Kia ora koutou and Greetings from ‘Ngā Hau E Whā’. We are a Maori Kapa Haka Group comprised of New Zealanders of Maori and Pacific Island descent. Our name, meaning ‘four winds’, acknowledges our different regional and tribal affiliations in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Our name also expresses that we have been carried here on the North, South, East and West winds. We hope you enjoy a brief glimpse in the world of the Maori through traditional song and performing arts.
