Thesis seminar（Before March 2023）

The thesis seminar is for students who have completed their fieldwork and are writing their theses. During this seminar, students present the conceptual frameworks and core chapters of their theses for discussion. This seminar is, thus, an opportunity to sharpen their presentations for use in reporting to their universities in their home countries and participating in academic meetings. Students making presentations are required to distribute drafts to faculty mentors and fellow students before their presentations. On the day of the presentation, faculty members and fellow students critique the presentation and thesis draft.
