浅田直規　「漂流」する孤児の生を追う

私の研究

ヨーロッパ東部、ルーマニアに住む孤児に関する研究を行っています。ルーマニア孤児の多くは育児放棄を受けた子どもたちです。現在では、多くの孤児が里親家庭など家族的環境で生活していますが、そこに至る過程は複雑です。当初は施設に入ることが多く、また複数の施設や里親を経験することもあります。その姿は、制度の中を「漂流」しているかのようでもあります。
孤児を「かわいそう」と思うことは簡単です。しかし、彼らはそれぞれの場所で懸命に生き、自らの生を全うしています。そんな孤児の主体的な生を追うことが、私の研究です。

私はアゾタ・ポペスクといいます。社会福祉と国内養子縁組に関する活動をしている団体の代表をしています。私たちの団体は貧しい子どもや家族、障がいを持つ子ども、孤児院出身の若者やホームレスに対する支援を行っています。
浅田直規氏は2019年から私たちの活動に参加し、子どもたちや若者のよき理解者であり友人となりました。彼はルーマニアの国家的課題に取り組む多岐に渡るプロジェクトに参加し、私たちの力となってくれました。（日本語訳）

I am Azota Popescu, President of the Catharsis Brasov Association, a private provider of social services and a Private Body Accredited to carry out activities in the field of domestic adoption. The Association’s interdisciplinary team, made up of employed and volunteer specialists, offers social assistance services to children and families in difficulty, children with disabilities, young people from orphanages, and homeless people.
Starting in 2019, Naoki Asada, a Japanese volunteer, joined our activities, becoming a good collaborator and friend of the children and young people assisted. He contributed significantly to the implementation of projects of national interest: prevention of family and school abandonment, social integration of young people from orphanages, integration of children with visual disabilities into mainstream education.
