私の研究

私はセネガル共和国のイスラーム文化について、言語やメディアの観点から、宗教的な知の生成と流通のダイナミズムについて研究をしています。セネガルは国民の9割以上がムスリムで、アラビア語で書かれた書物だけでなく、現地語ウォロフ語の口頭伝承を用いた説教から、フランス語やウォロフ語での国内出版物の流通など、言語と媒体を越えてさまざまな知が循環しています。特に、民族を超えてセネガルで広く話されているウォロフ語の言語実践に注目し、口頭と書物を通じた知の在り方について研究を続けています。

池邉さんは2014年よりセネガルで研究を続けている人類学者です。彼は研究のためにセネガル各地に住みこみ、現地の習慣や言語を習得しました。イブライマ・ケベという現地名を持っており、バイファルという宗教集団の中でもよく知られた人物です。また彼はムリッド教団に関する博士論文も執筆し、私が事務局長を務めるムリッド作家協会（AEM）の会員でもあります。教師であり作家でもある私と協力して、彼はウォロフ語の言語的特徴と社会的影響に関する調査も実施してきました。今後も彼の研究活動と当協会の活動において、継続的な協力をしていく所存です。

Dr. Ikebe is an anthropologist who has been conducting research in Senegal since 2014. As part of his research, he had lived in different regions of Senegal, where he learned local customs and languages. He is known as Ibrahima Kébé and is very famous in the Baay Faal community. He has also written a doctoral thesis on Murid. Ikebe is a member of the Murid Writers’ Association (AEM), of which I am the secretary general. In collaboration with me, both as a teacher and a writer, he has also conducted research on the linguistic characteristics and social influence of Wolof. In the future, I intend to continue my collaboration with him in his research and our activities.
